Sanguine Savior

Amelia Maud is a mysterious, carefree woman living in the 1930s with a luxurious lifestyle, someone who enjoys fashion, sex, and affluence as much as the next person. But she also enjoys blood. Amelia was turned by the vampire Grigore Dumitru in 1876 when she and her husband were visiting Paris during her first trimester. Losing her husband and unborn child, Amelia soon discovers she also lost her humanity. Living off her late husband's family wealth, Amelia resides in New York City in solitude, working at night as a nurse to gain access of donated human blood, but she still occassionaly desires the taste from the direct source. On the anniversary of her husband's death, Amelia goes back to Paris for a little vacation. This is when she meets Dante, a handsome Italian who has intrigued her. After spending time with Dante, she feels she is about to become vulnerable to him, that is when she and him go back to her hotel suite and are ambushed by members of an Italian Mafia. 

Amelia then wakes up inside a shipping container along with other women, having been kidnapped for a sex-trafficking ring and on their way to Italy. After Amelia breaks free from the container and saves the other women, she goes on a rampage to kill those working in the ring. Eventually, she discovers the name Enzo Severino, a notorious Italian gangster who is head of a powerful family. Seeking vengeance, Amelia goes to Severino's home but is captured again. Enzo Severino explains he's kidnapped Amelia after discovering her dark secret and used his younger brother Dante (not knowing of his brother's treacherous ploy) to get close to Amelia and let her guard down. 

Enzo's ploy is to gain Amelia's gifts of strength and immortality. In exchange, he will marry her and share his wealth, allowing Amelia to continue her lifestyle, have better access to her needs, and to no longer live a solitude life. Amelia does not agree but is taken away to the Severino's tropical villa for a grand party. There, Amelia's creator Grigore shows himself to her and explains that he and Enzo have been working together for years. This angers Amelia and she plots to take them all down. 

During the party, Enzo is able to steal Amelia's venom and inject himself. Amelia manages to escape and begins a violent killing spree during the party. Guests escape, but Amelia kills many of Enzo's men and unbeknownst to him, vampires are not able to kill their creators. Amelia kills Enzo and Grigore tries to do the same with Amelia until Dante comes to rescue her and it is revealed that Amelia turned Dante so that he could kill Grigore for Amelia. Once their enemies have fallen, Amelia and Dante eventually marry but change the ways of the family business and live together for decades, the story ends with Amelia and Dante living in London in the twenty-first century.
