Father Christmas

St. Nicolas was a Greek bishop in 16th-century Myra, a place that is now known today as Turkey. St. Nicolas came from a very wealthy family and during his time as a Bishop would often give to the poor. One day, robbers try to steal gold from him and he is nearly beaten to death and left to die until a mysterious spirit from the woods gives him life again. Nicolas returns to his life as a Bishop but begins to see himself quickly change. Conflicted on how to carry on with his changed life, he leaves his home to somewhere far away, to the top of the world, The North Pole. Here he begins his new life raising caribou and making toys for children, until one day the Blue Spirit returns to give him magic, creating Santa Clause; a spirit for Christmas to bring peace and jow to adults and children all around the world after his good deeds in his former life.
